Gamalate B6 reduces stress without the sedative fog! It’s a horrible feeling - you feel nervous or anxious, you can’t seem to relax and unwind, you are not sleeping well, you feel jumpy and on edge, you’re palms feel clammy and you’ve got butterflies in your stomach - you feel pressured, stressed, and overwhelmed. We’ve all had moments like these when we just can’t seem to relax and we feel really uptight. Unfortunately, for some of us these feelings and physical manifestations of stress and anxiety are more than just temporary. But whether they are long term or not, feeling like this can have a serious impact on your life and how you handle even some of the most basic day to day tasks.

Given the frenetic pace of modern living, it’s hardly surprising that many of us are trying to find ways to cope. But whilst you might want to feel calmer and more relaxed, you don’t want to feel all groggy and “muzzy-headed” otherwise you still won’t be able to get on with life and perform at your best. This is where Gamalate B6 comes in to its own. It’s a unique blend of four natural ingredients which together gently and effectively reduce stress and anxiety without leaving you with that awful sedative fog.

There are four principal ingredients in Gamalate B6:

1. GABA

GABA or, to give it its full name gamma-aminobutyric acid, is a naturally occurring amino acid that’s found mainly in the human brain and eyes. In the brain, GABA acts as a neurotransmitter.

Neurotransmitters act as the brain’s messenger service - when one neuron (brain cell) needs to communicate with another neuron, it does so by releasing specific chemicals (neurotransmitters) which cross the minute gaps that exist between neurons (synaptic gaps). By doing this the appropriate “message” is sent. There are a number of different neurotransmitters. GABA is the most important and abundant inhibitory neurotransmitter. As an inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA plays a vital role in regulating the “excitability” of neurons throughout the nervous system. It does this by inhibiting the number of neurons firing in the brain. This helps to regulate and stabilize brain and nerve cells. By preventing over-stimulation of the brain, GABA helps to deliver a calming effect, promoting relaxation and easing nervous tension. Indeed, GABA is sometimes referred to as the brain's natural calming agent.

But not only does GABA help to ease the mind and dispel anxiety. GABA is responsible for muscle tone as well and helps muscles to relax - making it one of the most effective supplements available to relax and calm both the mind and the body.

GABA is also an excellent sleeping aid, promoting deep and restful sleep. Its effectiveness lies in its ability to promote R.E.M. sleep. However, GABA can easily be taken during the day to help you relax without making you feel tired and drowsy. GABA only acts as a sleeping aid if it’s taken at bedtime.

In addition to the above, GABA can also enhance brain functioning, mental clarity and neurotransmitter functioning, and can help to stabilize blood pressure and assist in the pain management of chronic conditions such as arthritis and lower back problems.

GABA is also capable of increasing human growth hormone (HGH) levels. We discuss this more below under GABOB but suffice to say restoring youthful HGH levels is one of the most effective anti-aging strategies available to you, with HGH being the first substance to be clinically proven to help reverse the effects of aging.

2. GABOB

GABOB (Aminohydroxybutyric acid, sometimes called Buxamin) is the 2nd ingredient in Gamalate B6. GABOB is a derivative of GABA and therefore is also a naturally occurring substance. As with GABA, GABOB is closely related to the now banned GHB - indeed GABOB is the closest chemical in structure to GHB that is legally available. Given this similarity with GHB, oral administration of GABOB delivers many of the same benefits as GHB (i.e. increasing HGH and prolactin levels, providing mental stimulation and reducing stress and anxiety) without GHB’s heavy sedative effects (GHB has the ability to induce unconsciousness).

However, the primary approved use for GABOB is not as a relaxant but as an anticonvulsant. Pharmaceutical listings categorise GABOB as an anti-epileptic medication. Although GABOB does indeed have has anticonvulsant properties, it has fairly low potency levels if used on its own. It is, therefore, more useful as an adjunct therapy i.e. used alongside other anticonvulsant medications when treating epilepsy.

It is primarily in Europe that the use of GABOB has extended beyond the treatment of epilepsy to include helping to overcome stress and anxiety, improving learning and memory function and, crucially as far as aging is concerned, increasing growth hormone levels.

Indeed, promoting an increase in HGH levels is perhaps the single most important strategy that you can adopt in the fight against aging. As we age our levels of HGH decline at a rate of about 14% per decade after the age of 30. This decline in HGH levels brings about a number of physiological problems including increased weight and abdominal obesity, reduced cardiac output, decreased physical strength and muscle mass together with decreased exercise and physical performance, poor quality sleep and general fatigue and a decline in our overall sense of well being.

Restoring more youthful HGH levels can reverse these and other effects brought about plunging HGH supplies, helping to improve nearly all our vital functions and improving our health and fitness. Indeed, restoring youthful HGH levels is one of the most effective anti-aging strategies available to you, with HGH being the first substance to be clinically proven to help reverse the effects of aging.

The benefits of increasing HGH levels include:

  • Increasing energy and stamina
  • Improving deep, restful sleep
  • Increasing bone density and reversing the effects of osteoporosis
  • Building muscle and strength and improving fitness
  • Decreasing body fat and cellulite and aiding weight loss
  • Sharpening thinking and improving memory
  • Improving mood and the sense of well-being
  • Strengthening the immune and cardiovascular systems
  • Improving your cholesterol profile
  • Lowering blood pressure
  • Decreasing wrinkles and improving the texture of the skin

And what is more, both GABOB and GABA are entirely natural and can deliver all of the above without any side-effects.

3. Magnesium amino-bromohydrate

Magnesium amino-bromohydrate is an essential mineral. Indeed, magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is vital if we are to keep in good health. Approximately 50% of total body magnesium is found in bone. The other half is found predominantly inside cells of body tissues and organs with only 1% of total body magnesium being found in blood.

The reason that magnesium is so crucial to our health is that we require for more than 300 of the body’s biochemical reactions. Magnesium helps to maintain normal muscle and nerve function, to keep heart rhythm steady, to support a healthy immune system, to keep bones strong, to regulate blood sugar levels, to promote normal blood pressure, and is also known to be involved in energy metabolism and protein. With all these different roles, researchers are now looking at magnesium in relation to preventing and managing a whole range of chronic and potentially fatal disorders such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

Not only is magnesium so crucial to the healthy functioning of our bodies, the magnesium amino bromohydrate in Gamalate B6 works with vitamin B6 (which we look at in more detail below) to help synergize the amazing Gamalate B6 formula.

4. Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) performs a wide variety of functions in the body. It influences brain processes and development and is essential for good health. For example, vitamin B6 is needed for more than 100 enzymes involved in protein metabolism, is essential for red blood cell formation, is required for the efficient function of both the nervous and immune systems, helps to maintain blood glucose levels within a normal range and is a co-factor in the formation of the neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin and GABA.

Some women have found that Vitamin B6 may also help them to gain relief from premenstrual symptoms such as cramps, breast tenderness, fluid retention, irritability and mood swings. Vitamin B6 may also help those suffering from carpal tunnel nerve syndrome.

So, if you are feeling worried, stressed, fretful or anxious, the unique combination of the above four ingredients in Gamalate B6 may be just what you need to calm and de-stress you and stabilize your mood without the risk of developing that awful sedative fog that can leave you feeling just as unable to cope as before. Furthermore it’s a safe and natural supplement.

Gamalate B6 is not just recommended for those suffering from anxiety - real or imaginary mental fatigue, non-organically based stomach upsets, memory loss and asthenia (physical weakness or loss of strength often occurring in many wasting diseases such as anaemia and cancer) can all benefit from this remarkable blend of natural ingredients.
